Geneviève Leclerc cut her teeth on of cruise ships stages, all over the world. An adventure that lasted seven years and was rich in lessons and memories. Afterwards, she traveled Canadian and American roads in performing in many musicals, in particular Guys and Dolls ou Les Misérables. Although enjoying the experience, she felt too far away from her family. Geneviève is pursuing a new dream: a career as a singer, of course, but at home, in Quebec! She then embarked on the adventure of La Voix in 2016. At the blind auditions, she charmed the four coaches (Marc Dupré, Ariane Moffatt, Pierre Lapointe and Éric Lapointe). Her sensual rendition of A Love Story in the quarterfinals secured her spot in the semi-finals. She then interprets je suis malade, which will remain one of the highlights of the 4th season. Following her La Voix appearance are non-stop opportunities that help anchor Geneviève even more in the hearts of Quebecers ... and even well beyond the borders of the province. In the fall of 2016, Geneviève had an incredible experience that many distinguished singers would dream of. She flies to Russia at the invitation of none other than Michel Legrand. Alongside the three-time Oscar winner, she performs in Moscow and Saint Petersburg to interpret the major themes of the legendary Umbrellas of Cherbourg with the international “crooner” George Perris.
